| Girl Scout Week: March 7 - 13 This year, celebrate Girl Scout Week with us! Girl Scout Week is the week that March 12 (the year Girl Scouts began) falls in. This year, we have a challenge every day so we can celebrate the 109th birthday of Girl Scouts all week long!
Make sure to follow our Facebook and Instagram pages so you can share with us how you're celebrating! We can't wait to see your pictures!
Sunday, March 7 Think about your own beliefs this day, and see how they connect to the Girl Scout Promise and Law.
Monday, March 8 Perform an act of kindness! Surprise a friend, family, or stranger with a random act of kindness and make their day. Then, encourage them to pass it on!
Tuesday, March 9 Advocate for a cause! Share with your network about a cause you're passionate about.
Wednesday, March 10 Get out your Girl Scout gear! Wear your vest, sash, t-shirt, and other Girl Scout merch with pride today! Maybe what you're wearing will be a conversation starter for you to tell someone new about Girl Scouts!
Thursday, March 11 Give back to your community. What can you do this day to serve others in your community? It could be as simple as donating to a food bank or picking up trash at a park.
Friday, March 12 It's Girl Scout's birthday! Share what Girl Scouts means to you! Check our social media pages for more fun. Also make sure to attend our Girl Scout Birthday Bash virtual event!
Saturday, March 13 Learn about someone else's faith or beliefs. Take the time to learn something new! |

| Troop Tuesday: Using Their Cookie Proceeds, Troop 10556 Gives Back The 16 Girl Scouts in Troop 30827 in Vestavia have been meeting virtually.... but that doesn't stop them from working together to make an impact! Along with hundreds of other Girl Scouts from our council and across the country, they participated in the latest Girl Scouts National Service Project. They wrote and decorated hand-made Valentine's Day cards to show care for isolated seniors! This project was a Girl Scouts collaboration with the Cupid Crew from Wish of a Lifetime from AARP.
