| Give the Gift of the Outdoors: Camperships Needed for Summer Camp 2021 Last month we announced big news: Summer Camp is happening this year! We are currently taking reservations for members to save their spot as capacity will be limited this summer.
Girls need experiences in the outdoors now more than ever. After a year of screens and staying at home, summer camp will provide girls with adventures in nature, confidence as they master new skills, independence as they enjoy time away from home in a safe environment, and social skills through making new friends.
Camperships (that's a sponsorship which provides a girl with the experience of camp) are needed this year so all girls have the opportunity to go to camp. You can sponsor a camper for $350 or sponsor her camp supplies for $50. You can contribute any amount and designate your donation for Camperships. Just go to our Donate page and select "Campership" in the dropdown menu. |

As a Movement of 10 million girls and young women in 152 countries, the work WAGGS does to build intercultural communication, understanding and collaboration is global.

| Troop Tuesday: Using Their Cookie Proceeds, Troop 10556 Gives Back This is the power of a Girl Scout Cookie purchase: Using their cookie proceeds from 2020, Troop 10556 from north Huntsville purchased 25 new heavy jackets and donated them in December to the Downtown Rescue Mission, which serves people experiencing homelessness. 100% of the proceeds from the Girl Scout Cookie Program stays local, meaning Girl Scouts can do amazing things for their community. For more #TroopTuesday highlights, check our our Facebook page. Want your troop to be featured? Email us at communications@girlscoutsnca.org! |
