Your Voice Counts.

At Girl Scouts, we think your opinion is really important and we want to hear from you! In May, we’ll be conducting a national survey called Girl Scout Voices Count to learn about girls’ experiences in Girl Scouts. Your answers to the survey will help us make Girl Scouts better for all girls. An invitation to participate in the survey was emailed to parents and caregivers on May 6. The deadline to take the survey is June 3.

If you are a troop leader who is also a parent or caregiver of a Girl Scouts, you will receive the troop leader survey only. If you have a girl in Girl Scouts, her survey links will be included in this email as well so that all survey links for a family will be in one place. So please check your email for the survey link. As a thank you, you will be entered to win a pink camp t- shirt and blue camp sweatshirt!

Remember, should you have questions, suggestions, or issues, you can always access our Digital Suggestion Box, here!

Can't find the email? Check your spam or promotions folder. Look for an email from Girl Scouts of the USA. The subject line will include the words "Voices Count." Still can't find it? Email GSVoicesCount@girlscouts.org to receive the email again!

Community Service Project Idea: write letters to those who are isolated

The idea is simple: girls write letters or postcards to people in nursing homes, senior residences, and assisted living facilities, including the dedicated staff and caregivers. This long-distance hug is a way to share your good thoughts with these vulnerable and loved community members. Let them know they are not alone and that they are thought of and cared for, even from a distance.

Volunteer through the United Way of Central Alabama's "Kindness Postcards for Senior Citizens" project by registering here. The address to a facility will be located in the shift description.
